IMPORTANCE OF MENTORSHIP: Is it really necessary to get one?

Today,  I want to speak on the importance of getting yourself a Mentor.

Everyone needs a Mentor,  no matter how old or young they think they are.

And one doesn’t need to have only one Mentor.

You can have multiple Mentors depending on the area you need mentoring in.

You can have a Mentor in your Career, Spiritual life, Marriage life, Hobby, and so forth.

The advantages of  getting yourself a Mentor in any field you want to embark on is many-fold, but I'll only list 5 here :

1. You are able to learn and perfect the skill you are interested in, faster.

2. You get to develop the right and correct habits from the get go. No wasting time.

3. The Mentor opens your mind to exploring horizons you never thought possible

4. As they always say 'Two is better than one' When two minds meet, discuss and agree on a particular venture,  then its already done. Success is imminent.

5. Bouncing off ideas in a friendly,  supportive environment always uplifts you, promotes and generates more of your creative juices.

This has the advantage of helping you excel more and faster at whatever you need guidance on or in.

And this person who has experience or is trained in that field you are interested in.

For example,  let's say you want to learn to play the piano, for instance.

The best way to master this skill is to get yourself a Piano Instructor who will introduce you to all you need to know about how to play the piano like a maestro.

The same is true if you want to learn dance, cooking, driving,  skiing,  swimming, business skill, follow a particular career path.
