Thinking of starting a new business: What can you do to jumpstart your capital?
August 11, 2022
Today I want to talk about a very interesting concept I came across recently ... A BUSINESS SHOWER !!
We all know that when a recently married couple are expecting their first baby; friends, family, colleagues throw them a BABY SHOWER.
The guests come bearing gifts to help the to-be new parents enter their journey of parenthood equipped with the necessary 'tools' & resources they need to raise the baby.
This makes the role of parenthood easier and smoother for the to-be parents.
In a similar fashion, why not launch BUSINESS SHOWERS for those colleagues, family members, friends who have decided to embark on a new journey of entrepreneurship?!
A business shower can be arranged and hosted in much the same way a baby shower is arranged & hosted.
This would help the new entrepreneur(s) garner the 'tools' & resources they need to jumpstart and launch their business.
This serves also as a morale and confidence booster for the new entrepreneur(s).
Like raising a baby is not only a daunting task, but a lifelong responsibility; starting, running and developing a business is also a daunting task and a lifelong one.
When society supports each other in setting up businesses, I believe more and more businesses would thrive and be able to stand on their own feet faster and for longer periods of time.
This is a time for all of us to start thinking and behaving differently.
Do you know anyone who is starting a legitimate new business venture ... a friend ... a loved one ... a family member ... a colleague ... ?
Why not throw them a BUSINESS SHOWER?!!
